The setting was beautiful, surrounded by nature, which made it a perfect stop on our way to Quebec. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, especially in the lounge room where we relaxed and browsed through the collection of movies. The breakfast spread was abundant, providing a good start to our day. Although I found the long survey annoying, our stay overall was adequate and pleasant.

Sterling Inn definitely woudl ve been nice if they actually cleaned the spider webs from the ceilings, but I guess, who needs cleanliness? Also, having to share a bathroom is just adorable for such a grand establishment, right? I expected at least a complimentary snack for the inconvenience, but I, like others, got nothing. So disappointed.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and creates a cozy ambiance perfect for unwinding after a long day of hiking. Breakfast offers an abundant spread, which was a refreshing start to the day. However, the communal bathroom situation was less than ideal, as it could become quite busy during peak hours. A particularly unpleasant experience with the shuttle service left us feeling unwelcome, which marred an otherwise pleasant visit.

Our stay was enjoyable with the whole family, including our little dog. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere after a day of hiking the Appalachian Trail. The lounge area was perfect for relaxing, and we had a great time laughing and playing games together.
My children wished there were more activities for families to enjoy together.

The cozy lounge area with loads of light is delightful!
I was extremely disappointed with the communal bathroom situation. I had to wait too long to use the facilities, which really disrupted my plans. The cleanliness was also a big concern, as I noticed some areas around the hotel were not well maintained, and it felt quite neglected.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We spent our days rafting and hiking the Appalachian Trail, then returned to unwind in our cozy rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place has such a warm atmosphere perfect for groups. Don't miss the lounge room with open windows and a touch of history!
One downside was the communal bathrooms, which could be a bit inconvenient when the place is busy.

Recommend it for families and groups
The owner and his son were helpful We loved the common areas, especially the great room where we spent hours playing games and watching movies with the kids. The kids even had their own little space, which allowed us to relax a bit more.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what we got, it was acceptable.
